Loss Prevention Analyst : SP3737

Are you an experienced Analyst, seeking a new challenge and available immediately? If so, our client, an International Retailer is seeking your services, as part of the Loss Prevention team, to analyse and process data in relation to Stock loss, Cash loss and incident reporting. In this role you will be involved in; Reporting on financial losses through data mining and exception reporting; Making recommendations regarding Profit and loss risks and effectively supporting shrinkage reduction initiatives; Identifying issues of internal theft, challenging and reviewing current policies and procedures to prevent occurrences, and implementing recommendations to protect the business; Supporting the Loss Prevention team in data management to drive awareness and deliver best practice; Monitoring, analysing and reacting in a timely manner to all Loss Prevention incidents; Undertaking administrative tasks; Working closely with the Loss Prevention retail teams to manage the Organised Retail Crime function and link cases; Liaising with external agencies on Loss Prevention related issues. The role will be mainly office based but will require some travel in the UK and Ireland.  
You will be numerate with strong analytical, statistical & communication skills and have a good attention to detail, an ability to work well under pressure and a flexible approach. You will have strong planning and organisational skills, the ability to influence and work collaboratively to drive results and build productive relationships cross functionally. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, initially on a 6-month fixed Term contract, with the possibility of an extension.
