Are you a Midlands based, experienced Loss Prevention professional who is an excellent communicator, trainer and coach, passionate about Loss Prevention and influencing a change in behaviour and culture? If so, our client a successful retailer, with an innovative Loss Prevention Department, is seeking your services within its' growing team to advise, support and inspire senior management and colleagues in the distribution and supply side of side business. As a key player in the Company Loss Prevention team, you will support the development and implementation of the Loss Prevention strategy and work in collaboration with senior management and third-party colleagues, within distribution and supply. You will identify and resolve loss prevention issues, introducing new controls and processes to reduce shrinkage due to criminal activity, waste, damages, admin error and Supplier discrepancies. You will conduct Stock Loss and Shrinkage analysis, driving a culture of Loss Prevention through engagement of stakeholders, conducting training and raising awareness. Whilst building and maintaining positive relationships, you will focus on high risk areas, optimise resources and monitor Loss Prevention compliance. Dealing with all matters relating to investigation and control of losses, stock loss data, improvement of process, Loss Prevention policy and procedure and awareness training, you will present regularly and continuously embed the Loss Prevention Strategy. Some working of unsocial hours will be required.
You will have experience working in Loss Prevention in a Distribution / logistics / Supply, for a retailer or distributor, and be an excellent communicator and relationship builder. You will be a change manager, with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels. A good problem solver, analytical and data-driven, you will have experience in developing effective Loss Prevention policy and procedure, with a good knowledge of industry best practice and standards. This is a greenfield position in an expanding and progressive department, with potential prospects for career progression.
