Are you an experienced multi-site retail / logistics Security Manager, who is an excellent investigator, relationship builder and influencer and looking to work for a growing company that will value your contribution? If so, our client an expanding retailer is seeking your services within its' growing team to advise and support branches in the South EastThis is a field based role and you will be accountable for: Preventing or minimising loss, damage or injury to the business and its employees; ensuring a safe and secure working environment; Conducting thorough and impartial investigations of reported incidents and allegations and subsequent prosecution of offenders and ensuring best practice in investigative techniques; Liaising with support functions to ensure that any fraud is reported and processes are in place to identify crime at the earliest opportunity; Providing advice and training to Management and training teams in personal and physical security issues; Liaising with suppliers of Security Services and identifying and reporting any emerging risks to personnel or assets and ensuring adequate controls are in place; Assisting outside your area at times and working outside normal working hours, when required.
You will be a skilled Investigator and Interviewer, have drive & resilience, integrity, computer literacy and excellent communication and people skills. You will have experience of working in multi-site Loss Prevention / Security in the commercial sector, preferably Retail / Distribution, and be a trained investigator, possibly (but not necessarily) with previous experience as an investigator in a Police force.
